35 years of “Valderia”
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the opening of the “Giardino Botanico Valderia”, thanks to the collaboration between the Park Authority and the Cooperativa Montagne del Mare, two days to discover the garden in all its forms:
Saturday 21st June “The spirit in the Garden”
10:30 Summer Solstice Marco Grillo, Yoga instructor, offers us a lesson of about 1 hour suitable for everyone, to allow the approach to this practice.
Necessary Material: Mat, comfortable clothes to allow free movement, something warm to cover at the end of the practice

2:30 pm “Ikebana Ka-do, the spirit of flowers” according to the Zen spiritual philosophy of compassion for every form of existence, the development of this art allows us to develop concentration of thought and meditation, a time to rediscover ourselves and, through floral compositions, we can give life to our soul. Necessary Material: Large round bowl (30 cm), salad bowl type, ✂ scissors or shears, mat or towel, comfortable clothes, the activity takes place at 1370 m, bring something warm to wear.

Fee: € 10.00 for the purchase of the Material to be used during the activity
N.B. To celebrate at the end of the activity, participants will be offered a taste of the bear biscuits, a product recognized by the APAM Quality Mark
Sunday 22 June “A garden of science”
10:15 am Meeting and greetings from the Maritime Alps Protected Areas Authority
10:30 am Guided tour of the garden and independent walk along the Nature Trail
Required material: trekking shoes or boots, comfortable clothing, not suitable for strollers, wheelchairs can follow the path at the entrance along the dedicated walkway
Max 40 people who will be managed in two shifts of visits, alternating the independent visit along the Nature Trail
2:30 pm Guess who? The plants of the Maritime Alps!
Appointment with Dr. Valentina Ruco, where the famous board game becomes a botanical challenge! Discover the local plants with elimination questions, then run to really look for them in the garden! A game for the whole family, to learn while having fun the importance of biodiversity and botanical gardens in its conservation,
