Pic-nic areas and car parks
We manage several pic-nic areas and car parks that are useful strategic support points for enjoying the area in complete freedom. You can stop over to relax with friends or prepare to explore the paths and trails.
Parking Terme di Valdieri Complex
There are two car parks in Terme di Valdieri: the "Lourousa" car park named after the eponymous gully, situated at the start of the path to the Morelli-Buzzi refuge, and the "San Giovanni" car park, which is located in the upper part of the hamlet, the starting point for the path to the royal hunting lodge of Savoy, now the Valasco refuge, and for hikes along the characteristic paved mule tracks of Valle Scura to the Questa refuge. The latter is divided into two parking areas, in the upper area there are toilets, spaces for campervans also equipped with waste water facilities, sinks and electricity.

San Giacomo di Entracque car park
The car park is located in San Giacomo di Entracque, the starting point for the Soria Ellena refuge and a link to other itineraries in the Alpi Marittime Park. At San Giacomo there is the 'Baita Monte Gelas' restaurant, the GTA hostel, and the 'il Faggio' campsite.

Lago della Piastra pic-nic area (Entracque)
In the heart of the Alpi Marittime Park is the La Piastra area, which directly overlooks the dam of the same name. The area is organised on two levels, allowing everyone to use it in a quiet and relaxed manner. To the left of the access road is a large grass area along the river, while on the right is a raised area with a large tree canopy.

Equipped area of the VALDIERI ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK
Under the frame of the San Giovanni Saben fortress, at the foot of the Phoenician Juniper nature reserve, the archaeological park offers the possibility of enjoying a pleasant moment of refreshment and relaxation
