OCCITAN MUSIC CONCERT
CONCERT_ Genre: Occitan
The group Li Destartavelà, an Occitan term meaning "The daredevils" were officially born in July 2008, the members met attending the lessons and various recitals organized by Sergio Berardo and Simonetta Baudino. The group has in common the desire and pleasure of playing traditional Occitan music.
Li Destartavelá have played in numerous squares and in many festivals, consolidating their presence in the Occitan musical panorama of the valleys.
Over the years the group has seen various musicians as protagonists, to date the instruments they present in the formation are: hurdy-gurdies, flutes, percussion, accordion, bagpipes and electric bass.
In the welcoming arena of the Valdieri Archaeological Park, an engaging dance evening awaits you to rediscover and be carried away by traditional Occitan music.
