👣🐾Discover the "Men and Wolves" Center 🐺

Italy's first single-theme center dedicated to wolves, opened in Entracque. The "Men and Wolves" Center will be open exceptionally on May 30th, and will welcome you with a ticket price of just €5. Reservations are required for tours—to be made by 4:00 PM on May 29th—to coordinate access for everyone. Tours are also available in English and French.

The two tour locations are unique and complementary. Multimedia tours allow visitors to explore the theme of "Wolf" through immersive narration:

👣• The Visitor Center is located in Piazza Giustizia e Libertà, in the heart of the town. Grandpa Prezzemolo, astride his Tour de France-themed two-wheeler, travels the world and through time in search of stories and legends featuring wolves and men. The narration unfolds in four rooms and takes about an hour to complete.

🐾• The Wildlife Center, located on the provincial road to San Giacomo, 3, located outside the town, offers a one-hour guided tour through five rooms. Caterina's narration reveals the true story of Ligabue the wolf, who was tracked with a radio collar during his dispersal phase. At the end of the tour, you can climb up to the lookout tower, where, with patience, luck, and a little silence, you can observe some of the 10 Canis lupus italicus living at the recovery center.

N.B.: To travel between the two locations, you can drive or take the easy 2-kilometer "Via Burga" trail on foot or by bike. This trail, with five stops highlighted by "On the Wolf's Trails" signs, leads you on a journey of discovery of this predator.

🥾🎒 Discover the area

At 2:30 PM, at the "Orange Stand" located in Piazza del Mercato in Entracque, you can participate in one of two guided excursions led by the Park Rangers of the Maritime Alps Protected Areas Management Agency. A natural park where the village of Entracque is one of the historic municipalities.

The walk, which includes access to the "Uomini e Lupi" Wildlife Center, costs €10. Reservations are required and places are limited. You can choose between two routes, depending on your ability:

🔎• "On the Trail of the Wolf": A guided hike along "Via Burga," 4 km round trip, suitable for everyone and accessible with a stroller. The activity, including a visit to the Wildlife Center, lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

🍃• "The Wolf's Trail": A guided circular hike, 4.5 km round trip. The activity is recommended for ages 7 and up. It lasts approximately 3 hours. The trail is not accessible to strollers or wheelchairs.

💧💡 Discover Italy's Most Powerful Hydroelectric Power Plant

The Luigi Einaudi Information Center is located at Strada provinciale per San Giacomo, 9 and is the perfect place to discover Italy's most powerful hydroelectric power plant.

We look forward to seeing you from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm continuously at the Visitor Center, where you can learn about the power plant and its power by watching a film about the construction of the Chiotas Dam—located high in the mountains, 2,000 meters above sea level—the museum, and by viewing a working 1:20 scale model.

🏔️ Don't miss the exhibition "Last Ice: Climate Change in the Mediterranean Alps," located on the upper floor, which offers a comprehensive overview of the effects of climate change on the Alpine region.

• Throwing food inside the area is strictly prohibited.

• Photographs are permitted inside the museum, but video and audio recording are not permitted.
