Activities and historical reenactment

The Flamulasca Cultural Association is hosting the Valdieri Archaeological Park to take us back to the Bronze-Iron Age.

In a living history setting, the public will be involved in workshops depicting typical daily life from that era.

We'll explore how to dye wool using natural pigments; we'll create ceramic objects, including a lantern; others will be involved in making a sling, which can be tested alongside archery.

We'll retrace the history of the calendar, from the lunar calendar of Coligny to the Celtic calendar of today.

At the end of the day, after a thorough preliminary explanation, we'll witness the cremation ritual.
